Our renewed computers are refurbished by trained
technicians and are exhaustively checked, repaired, cleaned and
repackaged. Most of the products we sell are restored to factory
settings with the original software image restored.
- This warranty statement covers all Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
products that are sold without the original manufacturer's
warranty. For systems sold with the manufacturer's warranty
please refer to the specific statement from the manufacturer for
the individual product.
- All Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms computers come with a
30-Day, 3-Month, 6-Month, 1-Year warranty, dependent upon
the retail price of the product. Each product has the warranty
period stated on our website or invoice for your reference.
- Some products, clearly identified at the time of sale, are
sold on an "as is" basis. These products do not carry
any warranty, either from Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
or the manufacturer.
- Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms will make every effort to
deliver to you a value priced computer system that will be
reliable during and beyond our warranty coverage. Repair costs
must be weighed against the retail price of the system,
therefore we reserve the right to repair or replace if required.
- All of our warranties are carry-in, return to depot repair
services. Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms offers on-site
repair services on a contract basis only. For more information
on on-site repairs please call our office.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return a
system to Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms. If the repair is
a legitimate warranty issue, Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
will pay for shipping costs to return the unit to the customer.
If we do not find any fault with the system, or the problem is
not covered under our warranty, the system will be returned to
the customer at their cost. Customers must obtain an
authorization number (RMA #) before shipping any system to Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms.
This number must be clearly marked on the shipping container(s),

- Our warranty covers only parts and labour. Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
is not responsible for any loss of software applications or
personal data.
- Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms warranty services are
offered on a best efforts basis. The majority of our repairs are
completed within 3 business days.
- Although we will make an effort to assist our customers with
minor technical questions, Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
is not structured to offer technical support for hardware or
software inquiries for products not manufactured by our company.
Please visit the appropriate manufacturer's website or contact
their help line.
- Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms does not warranty or
support software problems. Please contact the appropriate
software manufacturer or Internet service provider (Internet or
email problems) for support.
- If the original factory software image becomes unstable or is
damaged during the warranty period then Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
will reload a new copy at no charge.
- If the Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarm Seals have been
tampered with or broken, than all warranty on the system is null
and void.
- Notebook batteries, that are included in our refurbished
systems, are sold on an "as is" basis. They are not
covered under the Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms Warranty
and cannot be returned or exchanged. Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms
will make every effort to source a replacement battery at a favorable
price.
- If the invoice does not have a warranty statement at each
product than there is no warranty on that item and is sold
as-is. This applies to all Computer and Fire Alarm Products.
10 Day Trial System(s) Warranty and Return Policy:
- Warranty statement above applies to all systems sold under
this policy.
- Customer is responsible to contact us for a RPA # for all
return systems.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return a
system to Shar-Min Computers & Fire Alarms. It is the
Customers responsibility to carry-in or return to depot all
systems under this policy before the 11 Day period from date of
purchase.
- All returned systems must be in its original packaging and
warranty seals must not be tampered with or broken.
- The customer will receive the full price paid for the system
fifteen (15) business days after returning the system minus
fifty dollars ($50) for processing fees and any delivery charges
if applicable.
- Only specific systems are sold under our 10 day warranty. Each
product has the warranty period stated on our website or invoice
for your reference.
